It's more than fun on London Family Farm Day!

Kids and families used to have great family fun on London Family Farm Day but this year they found much more. Apart from having fun on the popular Pony Rides, Petting Zoo and Nylon Zoo, they had the chance to learn some skills and knowledge about historic family farm life; such as woodworking, carving, weaving, spinning, lace making and historic fashion.  They were also able to bring home some memorable moments captured in the vintage family photos taken by members of the Richmond Photo Club in a heritage farm setting.
Many took a tour of the museums inside the Farmhouse and Spragg Barn, strolled through the beautiful Heritage Gardens, enjoyed a Full Tea in the Tea Room or just had a picnic on the lawns with food from the Concession Booth or the Food Trucks.
With new activities added and nicely spread out in a wider area in London Heritage Farm, participating kids and families have enjoyed a whole day of great outdoor fun in a very relaxing environment.
Here is a photo journal of the kids and families in action on London Family Farm Day 2015.
